Outlook Quick Steps

I was missing my shortcut to move things into folders in the new Outlook this morning so I started to look into it and remembered the Quick Steps.  In Outlook 2010 you can create Quick Steps to perform tasks for you.  So Quick Step SHIFT+CTRL+2 on my computer will categorize the message as Jux-TX and file it in the Jux folder.  Then I setup SHIFT+CTRL+6 to categorize as Jux-LA and file it in the Jux folder.  The old system was CTRL+2 or CTRL+6 to categorize it then ALT+1 to “Move to Folder” and then select from the list of folders.  Awesome!

I will probably need to setup this system for all my old CTRL+Category keys.  I have not tested the limits of the Quick Steps but this is so powerful and my Outlook insanity grows.
