Outlook Social Connector

I recently (last week) got my Windows 7 computer in place.  I do not even have a printer installed yet (not that I need one).  This means a lot of Outlook things have left me like Xobni but I do not miss it.  I was catching up on my reading and read about the Outlook Social Connector.  I installed it and then installed the LinkedIn portion and have found some of the info very handy.  I have not used LinkedIn as I have read others use it but I have found that it is good for me.  Anyway the “People Pane” puts a bunch of information in a pane in the contact screen or in an email.  It has things like status updates, emails, appointments, and more.  I use RSS to keep track of the status updates but to see the last few emails sent and received on that screen or recent appointments without having to go back through it again handy (I’m not supposed to use the same word twice but I will just let my wife get upset with me).  I’m not sure if I will keep it forever but I will keep it for a little bit more testing.
