Office 2010 Beta

What does a nerd do on Thanksgiving day?  Download Office 2010 Beta and play with it.  After eating turkey, ham, dressing, potatoes, green beans, and lots of dessert – and saving a baby from a locked car (story in a sec).  Office 2010 with only 30 minutes of play time does not have any significant feature changes that I have found YET.

My neighbor/office manager was loading up to go to her mom’s for Thanksgiving and her sister mistakenly locked the doors after loading the baby up.  So Randall got some screwdrivers and I got a clothes hanger and he pulled the door open enough for me to slide the clothes hanger in to pull the lock.  After a few failures and maybe 3-5 minutes they called 911 but as the fire truck drove up we popped the lock.   I have to say it is not as easy as it looks or sounds but not as difficult as I thought it would be.

I hope to play more with Office 2010 tonight so maybe I will find something very valuable.
